9 families graduated from the Computers in Homes training at Te Aroha Noa on September the 23rd 2016. The families that participated in the programme all have children enrolled in one of the local schools.
Takaro, West End, Sommerset Crescent, Terrace End, Palmerston North Girls High and Central Normal Schools.
We were very fortunate that all families were able to have access to the computer suite at Te Aroha Noa to complete their training. Computers in Homes and Te Aroha Noa have had a long relationship in providing training for families in the area and we continue to support Te Aroha Noa in bringing those families that require upskilling together in an environment that they feel comfortable in.
A very special thanks to trainer Mei Reti and support person/ “the boss” Marion Hales who promote and assist in making the programme the success it is today. To CEO Bruce Maden and the whole team at Te Aroha Noa who create a space where everyone feels like whanau and to Cr Adrian Broad for your continual support of the programme.
We look forward to working with more families who commence their training this month,
